Off the beaten track, I have a question to ask any readers.
Should I color my hair?
The post-chemo emerging hair is black and white and looks like a dirty ashtray, and it is curly at the moment. I planned on coloring it as soon as possible to resume looking like me! Do I delude myself in thinking that I look younger when in fact I can’t escape that 62 years is my reality?
BUT I came across a couple Bible verses.
Proverbs 16:31: “Gray hair is the mark of distinction, the award of a God-loyal life.”
Proverbs 20:29 ” Gray hair gives prestige to old age.”
Was it a God-thing that I came across these verses?

Well no one can honestly say you wouldn’t look younger if you dyed your hair…..but, I think it is looking good…..:-) Maybe a God thing…..:-) Lastly, think of all the money you will be saving, that you could use to buy more things on your trips….hee hee
I vote no. You can always pull out the wigs on occasion. Your recent dye jobs always had too much blonde in it, making it look even more unnatural.
I think Andy should start going by Andres if he is going to be giving hair advice to women!
I think it would look great either way, but you look like a hottie the way it is now!
hair advice robbie? she asked for opinions! Sometimes the lesson is, don’t ask questions if you don’t want answers. ๐
I love how the color has come in- it makes your eyes pop!
Also it’s probably healthier not to submit your body to chemicals..course this comes from the girl that gets her hair dyed every 3 weeks!!
love it! More opinions please ๐
I’d say do what feels good! If God wanted us to be all grey He wouldn’t have let us create hair dye!! I don’t think it’s a sin. I just know I feel better with mine dyed whether it turns out red, blonde, brunette….it just feels younger!
AND YES YOU ARE A HOTTIE!
Whatever makes you comfortable! We love you either way! Give your hair a rest…leave it natural for awhile and then if you want to color it you can do it later!!!
You know what I’ll say as your white-haired friend. I think you look damn good. And it’s curly! Save the time and money for more good times.
When I saw the first photo of your new growth, I felt such happiness! You look young, vibrant and oh so healthy/happy. Suspect your internal joy is radiating for all to see! That being said, I also saw your Mom! More on this conversation next week-my sister( the yogi )and I have spent hours re this decision.
yeah. you look GREAT! God’s natural color scheme………(dirty ashtray??? does mine look like a dirty ashtray?? ๐ here I thought I had silver sparkles..) so, your hair was never dark at one time??? you ALWAYS look great..wig,dye, natural…. they all fly with me…. however there IS a point ( a LOOOONG time from now for you) where it becomes “who are you kidding?” …as when my dear m-i-l still preferred to look like an apricot poodle than to have the pretty silver which would have been gorgeous with her skin tone.
You will be beautiful either way!
Hey, I’m 69 and I color my hair!
