Free time meant the privilege of NOT meeting our “mini group” until 10 am in the lobby. Heaven, and no bus!
We picked the Israeli Museum (boring). When I went to see the Dead Sea Scrolls when they came to San Diego a year ago, I saw more scrolls then; everything today was a facsimile.
But we did find 2 caches and KC’s Jerusalem University campus from her senior year, and walk more miles than these knees should take.
Tomorrow – The DEAD SEA!

I sure hope you enjoy the Dead Sea, and not too much in pain…..I know, when will you ever do this again….push, push, push…..:-)
There are some monuments etc that are there. For example, when you went to Ceasarea there were some of the original plaques at the museum.
and donna’s right. i remember being there at 22 and hiking up a hill to see the valley that David killed Goliath, as we left a tour bus arrived and i remembered thinking, my mom’s knees could not handle that hill! A tour of Israel is tough to do!
Don’t forget to do Hezikiah’s tunnel? And i hear the dome of the rock is now open again to the public?
Praying for your safety most esp today as we read the front page of The Post.
